1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Maidly website (maidly.co.nz) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and anyone who submits a quote request or engages Maidly Enterprise Limited for any service.


2. About Maidly

Maidly Enterprise Limited is a cleaning and laundry services company based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We provide residential and commercial cleaning services as well as laundry services in partnership with Jim's Laundry.

3. Services

Maidly offers the following services:

  • Residential property cleaning

  • Commercial and office cleaning

  • Deep cleaning and sanitisation

  • Move-in / move-out cleaning

  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry (via Jim's Laundry partnership)

  • Ironing and dry cleaning (via Jim's Laundry partnership)

  • Free pickup and delivery for laundry (within our service area)

All services are subject to availability and geographic coverage within the Christchurch region. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or discontinue any service at any time.


4. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided through our website are estimates only and are not binding until confirmed in writing by Maidly. Final pricing may vary based on the actual size of the property, condition of the space, specific service requirements, and access arrangements.

We do not publish fixed prices on our website. All pricing is tailored to your specific needs and confirmed before any work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed after receiving a quote.


5. Bookings and Scheduling

Once a quote is accepted, a booking will be confirmed by a Maidly team member via phone or email. We ask that clients:

  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time

  • Secure or remove valuables, fragile items, or pets before our team arrives

  • Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they need to reschedule or cancel

Late cancellations (under 24 hours notice) may incur a cancellation fee at our discretion.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every clean. If you are not satisfied with the result, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will arrange a re-clean of the affected areas at no additional charge.

Our satisfaction guarantee does not apply where dissatisfaction arises from conditions outside our control (e.g. pre-existing damage, inaccessible areas, or client-supplied products).


7. Liability

Maidly takes reasonable care in delivering all services. However, to the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to property

  • Our liability for any loss or damage caused by our team is limited to the value of the service provided

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss


We carry public liability insurance. If you believe our team has caused damage to your property, please notify us within 48 hours of the service.


8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when requesting a quote

  • Ensuring the property is accessible and safe for our team to work in

  • Notifying us of any hazards, special requirements, or areas to avoid

  • Securing pets during the service visit

  • Making timely payment as agreed


We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if our team is placed in an unsafe or unreasonable working environment.


9. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. We accept payment via bank transfer or other methods as agreed. Invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice.

Late payments may result in suspension of services. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with New Zealand law.


10. Third-Party Services

Certain services (including laundry, ironing, and dry cleaning) are delivered in partnership with Jim's Laundry. While we coordinate these services on your behalf, Jim's Laundry operates under their own terms and conditions for the execution of laundry services.

Maidly is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party service providers beyond our reasonable control.


11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Maidly website — including text, logos, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to Maidly Enterprise Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without prior written permission.


12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your personal information.


13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
